The school is designed to take students from their very first steps through a comprehensive curriculum of classical ballet and related studies. Students gain the poise, confidence, discipline, and fundamental life skills inherent in the study of classical ballet. Upon completion of the SMB curriculum, students are fully prepared for careers with professional ballet companies.

“SMB strives to provide quality training for both aspiring artists and those who will not become career dancers,” said Madison Ballet’s artistic director W. Earle Smith. “With a strong focus on discipline and respect, the school prepares students for accomplishments in dance as well as other areas of life.”

Madison Ballet promotes appreciation and access to ballet by providing training and performing opportunities through professionally produced productions and educational initiatives. Located at 160 Westgate Mall, Ste I, Madison, WI, 53711, Madison Ballet is the first professional level training program in South Central Wisconsin and one of the largest performing arts organizations in Wisconsin.
